BIO

Anyrah Shavéh is a rising contemporary poet, performer, and cultural curator whose work disrupts silence and reclaims the sacred. Originally from Flint, MI and now based in Brooklyn, NY, her poetry merges affirmation with artistry—centering women’s wellness, radical self-trust, and embodied truth-telling.

With over 5 million views across platforms, her words have resonated globally. Anyrah’s voice is urgent, her story necessary, and her presence—unapologetically epic. Notably, she performed at the inaugural Afropunk Herstory event and the Lincoln Center Poetry Festival in 2023, and has been featured on acclaimed poetry platforms such as Write About Now, Voices In Power, and Poetry Me Please.

She is also the visionary behind the "Protect Your Peace & PH Balance" apparel collection, an extension of her creative philosophy that merges fashion, poetry, and emotional wellness. Through her nonprofit, HomeMade Collective Inc., she curates multidisciplinary arts experiences that amplify trailblazing voices and foster collaboration across poetry, performance, music, and visual art.

In 2024, Anyrah served as a Brand Ambassador for the Kenneth Cole x Perfect White Tee collaboration, where she crafted a spoken word poem addressing the challenges of perfection and self-judgment, promoting a powerful message of self-acceptance and authenticity.

A proud alumna of Tennessee State University, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications, won 1st place in the TSU Oratorical Contest, and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

From stages to timelines, from curated shows to affirmational fashion, Anyrah builds experiences that remind us: that you are the poem, the purpose, and the possibility.
